- Nuts – Peanuts, almonds, pistachios, and brazil nuts all contain heart-healthy fats that are full of fiber and plant sterols. Plant sterols help reduce cholesterol absorption inside your body.
- Avocado – Rated as the world’s favorite fruit, avocados are great for boosting good cholesterol. They contain folate and fiber, which are both important for good health. Avocados may also help lower your risk of heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes.
- Fatty fish – Salmon, sardines, tuna, rainbow trout, and mackerel all contain Omega-3 fatty acids, which help improve cholesterol levels.
- Flax – Flax also contains Omega-3 fatty acids. Add it to cereal, yogurt, salads, and other foods for an extra boost.
