A Letter From Dr. Kimbrell
I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the patients who allowed me the privilege to assist in their health care over the past 34 years. Since my arrival in Lancaster in 1983, healthcare has dramatically changed. When I came to Lancaster, there were four internal medicine specialists in Lancaster County, one of whom was a gastroenterologist. Now we are blessed with many fine physicians of multiple specialties. Springs Memorial Hospital and Community Health Systems have played an integral part in the recruitment of many of these physicians.
As I retire from Palmetto Tri-County Primary Care, I am pleased that two new physicians, Dr. Pierce and Dr. Ansari, will be joining with Dr. Bhaskaran and our four nurse practitioners. This is an outstanding group of providers and they offer competent and compassionate care for their patients. My family and I will be continuing as patients of Palmetto Tri-County Primary Care.
The current uncertainty of our national health care policy will eventually resolve and Palmetto Tri-County Primary Care will continue to provide the care for Lancaster County and surrounding county residents.
F. Michael Kimbrell, M.D.
Palmetto Tri-County Primary Care recognizes Dr. Kimbrell for all his contributions to the medical community in Lancaster, as well as the health of its citizens. We wish Dr. Kimbrell all the best in his retirement.
